There are some tips recommended by the American Diabetes Association, namely:
1. Control your weight. Increased risk of type 2 diabetes if you weigh 20% more than the ideal number.
2. Still follow a low-fat diet and get used to eating in small portions.
3. Eat more vegetables and fresh fruits.
4. Keep doing regular exercise program to help the body burn more glucose without extra insulin.
